GENERAL TERMS APPLICABLE TO ALL SERVICES

1. COMPANY OVERVIEW
Valet Closet provides two distinct service offerings: Storage Services: Secure storage, pick-up, and delivery services for personal and business belongings. Moving Bin Rental Services: Eco-friendly plastic moving bin rentals with door-to-door delivery and pickup

2. USER ACCOUNTS

To access our services, you must create an account on our website. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Account holders must be 18 years of age or older.

3. GENERAL PAYMENT TERMS

All fees are detailed on our website and confirmed during booking. Payments are processed via our secure payment system (Stripe). Credit card authorization: We may keep payment information on file for service-related charges. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in service-specific terms.

4. GENERAL LIABILITY PROVISIONS
Valet Closet takes reasonable care in handling customer property. We are not liable for damage or loss due to natural disasters, theft, or events beyond our control.
Customer agrees to obtain appropriate insurance for their belongings. Maximum liability: Limited to the amount paid for services, unless otherwise specified.

5. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Your use of our services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information.

6. COMMUNICATION CONSENT
By using our services, you consent to receive: Transactional Communications (non-optional): Service confirmations and updates via email/SMS Delivery/pickup notifications and reminders
Customer service communications Marketing Communications (optional): Promotional offers and newsletters. Service updates and company news. Opt-out instructions included in all marketing communications

7. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas. Arbitration: Disputes resolved through binding arbitration via the American Arbitration Association (AAA) Each party bears its own legal fees, unless otherwise awarded by the arbitrator.

8. MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms. Existing service agreements honor Terms in effect at time of booking PART II: STORAGE SERVICES TERMS. These terms apply specifically to Valet Closet's storage, pick-up, and delivery services for personal and business belongings.

9. STORAGE SERVICE OVERVIEW
Valet Closet provides secure storage services where customers schedule pick-up of belongings, which are then stored securely in our facilities until requested for delivery.

10. STORAGE PICK-UP AND DELIVERY
Pick-ups and deliveries must be scheduled through our platform. Customers must be present at the scheduled time or designate an authorized individual (18+ years old) If you miss a scheduled pick-up or delivery, additional fees may apply. Delivery times are subject to availability and unforeseen circumstances. Service areas: Limited to specified geographic regions (see website)

11. STORAGE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Stored items must comply with our prohibited items policy (see Section 13) Items must be properly packed to prevent damage
Customer responsibility: Valet Closet is not responsible for damages due to improper packing by customer. Storage duration: Subject to storage plan agreement and payment schedule
Access: Items available for delivery upon request during business hours.

12. STORAGE FEES
Storage and delivery fees are detailed on our website. Monthly billing: Storage fees charged monthly in advance. Late payments may result in additional charges and suspension of services
Retrieval fees: May apply for individual item retrievals.

13. PROHIBITED ITEMS - STORAGE SERVICES
You may not store: Perishable goods, food, or live animals. Flammable, hazardous, or illegal materials. Firearms, explosives, or weapons. Items exceeding weight or size restrictions outlined on our website. Items of extraordinary value without declared value and additional insurance.

14. STORAGE LIABILITY AND INSURANCE
Standard coverage: Basic protection included for stored items. Optional insurance: Enhanced coverage plans available for additional protection. Liability limit: Our maximum liability for loss or damage is limited to the terms in our insurance policy. Customer insurance: Recommended for high-value items.

15. STORAGE ACCOUNT TERMINATION
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms. Customer termination: You may cancel your account at any time, subject to outstanding fees
Notice period: 30 days written notice required for account termination. Item retrieval: All items must be retrieved within 30 days of termination.

PART III: MOVING BIN RENTAL SERVICES TERMS
These terms apply specifically to Valet Closet's moving bin rental services with delivery and pickup.

16. MOVING BIN RENTAL OVERVIEW
Valet Closet provides eco-friendly plastic moving bin rental services with door-to-door delivery and pickup. Our reusable bins are a sustainable alternative to cardboard boxes for residential and commercial moves.

17. RENTAL EQUIPMENT RESPONSIBILITY

17.1 Care, Custody and Control
Customer acknowledges having care, custody, and control of all rented bins, dollies, and accessories while at customer's location. Customer accepts full responsibility for all loss, damage, or theft of equipment while in their possession. Equipment remains the property of Valet Closet at all times. Customer agrees not to use bins for long-term storage exceeding rental terms.

17.2 Replacement Costs
If equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen while in customer's possession: Moving Bins: $25.00 per damaged/lost bin
Dollies: $75.00 per damaged/lost dolly. Accessories: Replacement cost as posted on website.

17.3 Cleaning Requirements
Customer must return all bins clean and empty. Bins must be free of: stickers, tape residue, hair, liquids, soil, food particles, or other debris. Cleaning fee: $50.00 per improperly cleaned bin
Bins with excessive odors or staining may incur additional cleaning charges

18. BIN RENTAL SCHEDULING AND DELIVERY

18.1 Delivery and Pickup Appointments
Customer must schedule delivery and pickup appointments through our platform .Customer or authorized representative (18+ years old) must be present for delivery and pickup. Delivery location must be accessible by standard delivery vehicle. We deliver to the nearest accessible point (driveway, entrance, etc.) - no carrying inside

18.2 Rescheduling and Cancellation. 48-hour notice required for rescheduling appointments
Rescheduling with less than 48 hours notice: $50.00 fee
No-show fee: $50.00 if customer unavailable at scheduled time
Cancellation: Free cancellation up to 48 hours before delivery; $50.00 fee within 48 hours

18.3 Failed Delivery/Pickup
If no one is available at scheduled time: $50.00 re-delivery fee
If a re-delivery or re-pickup is required more than once, each additional trip may be billed at $50.00 per occurrence
Customer must provide safe, accessible location for equipment placement
Additional trip charges may apply for difficult access locations

19. RENTAL PERIODS AND FEES

19.1 Rental Duration
Minimum rental period: 1 week
Rental periods calculated in full weeks (any partial week counts as full week)
Example: 10-day rental = 2 weeks of charges

19.2 Extended Rentals
Extensions must be arranged before scheduled pickup date
Late return fees: Standard weekly rate for each additional week
Late fees begin the day after the scheduled pickup date unless an extension is granted in writing
After 30 days without communication: Equipment considered purchased at full retail value ($25.00 per bin, $75.00 per dolly)

19.3 Access and Delivery Fees
Ground level delivery/pickup: Included in base price
Stairs assistance: $10.00 per flight (delivery and pickup each charged separately)
Elevator access: No additional charge

20. BIN RENTAL PAYMENT TERMS
Credit card kept on file for duration of rental agreement
Customer authorizes charges for: rental fees, damage costs, cleaning fees, late fees, and replacement costs
All payments processed securely through Stripe
Disputed charges must be reported within 30 days

21. PROHIBITED USES - BIN RENTAL
Customer agrees NOT to:
Sublease, rent, or sell rented equipment
Use bins for storage of prohibited items (see Section 22)
Remove bins from delivery/pickup addresses without authorization
Modify, alter, or repair equipment
Use bins for purposes other than moving
Violation of this section may result in immediate termination of service and additional recovery fees.

22. PROHIBITED ITEMS - BIN RENTAL
DO NOT place the following in rental bins:
Hazardous materials (chemicals, paint, batteries)
Flammable or explosive substances
Perishable items or food
Live animals or plants
Illegal substances or stolen goods
Liquids or wet items
Items exceeding weight limits (50 lbs per bin recommended)

23. BIN RENTAL LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION

23.1 Customer Liability
Customer responsible for any injury or property damage occurring during use of equipment
Customer must obtain appropriate insurance for belongings in bins
Valet Closet not liable for damage to customer's belongings while in bins

23.2 Limitation of Liability
Valet Closet's maximum liability limited to rental fees paid
Not liable for: indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
Force majeure: Not liable for delays due to weather, natural disasters, or circumstances beyond our control

23.3 Indemnification
Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Valet Closet, its officers, employees, and agents from:
All claims arising from customer's use of equipment
Injuries to any person during equipment use
Property damage caused by or related to equipment use
Legal fees and costs related to such claims
This indemnification survives termination or completion of the rental period.

24. BIN RENTAL WARRANTIES

24.1 Equipment Warranty
Equipment delivered in good working condition
Defective equipment will be replaced at no charge if reported immediately
No warranty on suitability for specific purposes

24.2 Service Disclaimers
AS-IS SERVICE: No warranties beyond those explicitly stated
No guarantee of specific delivery times (estimated windows provided)
Weather and traffic may affect delivery schedulesPART IV: FINAL PROVISIONS

25. SERVICE AREAS
Both storage and bin rental services are available within specified geographic areas. See our website for current service coverage and any applicable distance-based fees.

26. ACCOUNT SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION
Valet Closet reserves the right to:
Suspend or terminate service for Terms violations
Refuse service to customers with outstanding balances
Recover equipment immediately upon termination (bin rental)
Require retrieval of stored items within specified timeframes (storage)

27. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

28. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the complete agreement between customer and Valet Closet regarding all services.

How does the rental process work?
Simply select your package online, choose delivery and pickup dates, and we'll bring clean crates to your door. After your move, we'll pick them up from your new location. It's that easy!
When will my crates be delivered?
We'll confirm your delivery window when you book and contact you the day before with a more specific time frame. Our team will call 30 minutes before arrival.
What areas do you serve?
We deliver throughout central Texas & Austin. Delivery fees vary by distance from our facility. Check our service area map online or call for a custom quote.
Can someone else receive my delivery?
Yes, any adult (18+) can accept delivery. Just let us know who will be there and provide their contact information when booking.
What if I'm not home during delivery?
If you have a secure location (garage, gated area), we can arrange contactless delivery. Otherwise, we'll reschedule at no charge with 24-hour notice.
What are the dimensions of your crates bins?
Each crate measures 27" length x 17" width x 12" height, providing approximately 3.2 cubic feet of storage space - perfect for books, clothes, kitchen items, and more.
How heavy should I pack each crate?
For comfortable lifting, we suggest keeping packed crates under 45-50 pounds. The crates themselves can handle much more weight structurally.
What makes your crates better than cardboard boxes?
Our crates are stackable, weather-resistant, and eliminate the need for tape or assembly. They're also crush-proof and provide superior protection for your belongings.
Are your bins stackable?
Absolutely! The interlocking design allows safe stacking up to 4 crates high, maximizing space in moving trucks and storage areas.
What material are the crates made from?
Our crates are crafted from durable, food-grade plastic that's built to last hundreds of moves while being completely recyclable.
My building has stairs - is that a problem?
Not at all! We charge $10 per flight for stair assistance during delivery or pickup. You can also handle stairs yourself at no extra cost using our provided dollies.
Do you deliver to apartments and high-rises?
Yes, we're experienced with all types of residential buildings. We'll coordinate with building management and use freight elevators when available.
What if my building requires special delivery hours?
Just let us know about any restrictions when booking. We'll coordinate timing that works for both you and your building's requirements.
Can you deliver to storage units?
Absolutely! Many customers use our crates for temporary storage during transitions. Just provide the facility address and unit number.
